BC Student Takes Part in “It’s My Park” Event


Damian A. Perez, II (Class of 2019) completed his community service


hours, for confirmation, by working with New York City Bronx Community Board 6, El Grupo Unidos (a nonprofit organization), and the New York City Parks Department in organizing an “It’s My Park” event. The event was held on May 14, 2016, at D’Auria-Murphy Triangle, in the Belmont section of The Bronx. Damian was joined by several volunteers to beautify a park recently vandalized and neglected.


BC Garners Over 11,000 Viewers on the Bleachers Network In the first year of a streaming


broadcast partnership between Bergen Catholic and GoBleachers.com, BC became the most-watched school in


the Bleachers national broadcast network, garnering over 11,000 view- ers for all school events during the 2015–16 academic year.
