EXCITING NEW MOVE FOR REED HARRIS

DESIGN STUDIO Tile specialist Reed Harris has started an exciting new chapter in the company’s rich history with the opening of a striking London design studio and office. Aimed at architects and specifiers, the new Bagley’s Lane studio is perfectly placed adjacent to Chelsea Harbour.

Featuring an abundance of natural light, which shows off the carefully selected range of stone, porcelain, ceramic and mosaic tiles on display to great effect, the new studio is a must-visit destination for professionals. As well as being inspired by the products, visitors are also able to receive advice on ancillary products from Reed Harris’ expert team, and information on its renowned Bespoke Design Service, which can be used to create unlimited design possibilities by using water jet and CNC technology to cut natural stone and porcelain.

Exhibitors included: Daniel Heath Studio, Solomon & Wu, Soundspace Solutions, CED Ltd, Johnson Tiles, Panel Stone, Bellegrove Ceramics, ALPI, Panaget, Alusid, British Laminate Fabricators Association, Omek Enterprise, Imperial Marble & Granite Importers, Viero UK, Abel Magnets, Joseph Ash, Mason Marble & Granite, T/A Lafite Stone, Graphene, AlphaW Design, Whites Carpentry, FunderMax, Solus Ceramics, Waxman Ceramics, Kodasema.

The new studio replaces Reed Harris’ Carnwath Road site, where the company, which was founded in 1925 by the grandfather of sales director James Reed, had had a presence since the early 1960s. The relocation is a direct result of the development of the ‘Super Sewer’ or 15-mile Thames Tideway Tunnel, as it is more formally known.

The move to Bagley’s Lane comes at an exciting time for Reed Harris and coincides with the merger of the company’s retail and commercial divisions. Previously known as Reed Harris Architectural, the company’s trade arm has rebranded to Reed Harris and shares the same distinctive, eye-catching, monochrome logo.

Earlier this year, Reed Harris, which also has a showroom and warehouse in Reading, celebrated the official opening of its stunning tiles, paper and paint boutique at 586 King’s Road with a VIP launch event. Since opening, this showroom has established itself as a destination of choice among design-conscious homeowners as well as interior designs.

Reed Harris’ Sales Director, James Reed, said: “We’re delighted to have opened the doors to our new Bagley’s Lane studio. As well as an incredible product selection, we also offer the commercial market our unique, renowned Bespoke Design Service, which we look forward to introducing to new, as well as existing, customers.”

Darren Clanford, from Johnson Tiles, said: "This is our second year of exhibiting at the Surface & Materials Show, following a successful event in 2015.

“Once again we were provided with a fantastic space, which resulted in a wealth of promising leads. It's important for Johnson Tiles to be exhibited amongst like-minded, innovative companies, and the Surface & Materials Show ensures this year on year."
