WHAT’S NEW?
A NEW RESOURCE FOR TRADERS FROM
DICKIES TILES As an established tile importer and retailer based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, Dickies Tiles has had trading relationships with many major suppliers for over 20 years. To extend its market further, Dickies Tiles has now launched a new ‘Trade Tiling’ website, aimed at supplying bulk quantities of materials at competitive prices
Well-known locally for its quality levels of service and products, and with ever-evolving demands and opportunities, Dickies created the website to do extend this quality of service to the rest of the UK.
Peter Gill, from Dickies Tiles, said: “We’ve been supplying goods not only nationwide but even occasionally exporting to parts of Europe.
“What makes us different is that we not only sell at prices much cheaper than other suppliers, both shop and online based, but we also reward sales with free gifts, and not just cheap boxes of chocolates, but things like free tile cutters worth around £250. Or even on low spend purchases useful things like free decent quality draper tools products.
“We will deliver free of charge if the order reaches £250, and below that we just charge a flat rate of what it costs us.”
New products are added to the Dickies range on a daily basis and new suppliers are coming on board on a weekly basis. Dickies are also proud to announce recent partnerships with suppliers such as Bal, Mapei and Sigma.
“Gone are the days when a tradesman is forced to use products that the local merchants stock. We can supply, for example, 18 types of floor levelling compounds, from the cheap and cheerful all the way to new ultra rapid-drying ones where same-day floor covering is possible.

Petit Parquet is both striking to look at and a practical option for all rooms in the home and most commercial installations. Unlike traditional wood parquet, there is no need to worry about fading,
“As we are well known for listening to our customers’ needs, we regularly source and supply new products on request.
“Most of our products are shipped factory-direct, which is great for things like cement-based products, where storage and shelf-life can be a bit of a concern,” continued Peter.
Recently, Dickies has teamed up and invested heavily in the Bellota range of tools and accessories.
