If you’re heading to the beach this summer, it’s likely you’ll be stocking up on sun cream and sunhats. In recent years, warnings about the dangers of sun exposure have been well communicated to holidaymakers and garden sunbathers.
However, the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is concerned that this message is not reaching people who work outside day in, day out. In a survey of outdoor workers commissioned by IOSH, two-thirds said they thought they were not at risk or were unsure if they were.
That’s why the organisation has shifted its ‘No Time to Lose’ campaign to focus on the risks of solar radiation to the UK workforce. Turn to our skincare section to find out more.
