MAERSK TRAINING LAUNCHES NEW HUB RESCUE


COURSE Newcastle-based Maersk Training has launched a new training course to expand its portfolio of health and safety courses for the wind energy industry.


The Hub Rescue course, which is recommended for WTG Technicians, Blade Inspectors, and Installation and Maintenance Subcontractors, has been designed to provide both theoretical and practical skill sets for those required to access Hub and Yaw sections of wind turbine generators and how to rescue a casualty from these areas.

The British Safety Council’s Global Risk Management Theatre will feature talks on the specific challenges for UK managers who are responsible for global health and safety, as well as looking at best practice overseas.


Over 20% of 330 exhibitors will be international, highlighting the important role that the show plays globally. The exhibition will be co-located with the IOSH 2015 Conference, the RoSPA Awards and the Health Symposium which forms part of UK Health and Safety Week.
