www.tomorrowshs.com Hello there,
Welcome to the March issue of Tomorrow’s Health & Safety, which is also our Show Issue that will be showcased on our stand at The Health & Safety Event.
In this edition we hear from safety company Arco about their official partnership with The O2 and involvement in the BRITS music awards, and also check in with Dale Jones, Technical Manager, at Alcumus SafeContractor in our 10 Questions feature.
Elsewhere, in the Fire & Electrical Safety section, Honeywell Home Safety look to the future and explore how connected alarm systems could be the way forward for domestic safety.
The times are-a-changing according to David Davies, Managing Director of Checkit, who discusses the importance of maintaining a regular cleaning and hygiene regime and the possible consequences of neglecting to stay on top of this in our Cleaning & Hygiene section.
Our March issue also shines a light on mental health and stress and the impact it can have on workforces around the world. International SOS explore mental illness from the perspective of a business traveller; shining a spotlight on the increased pressure travelling can place on an employee’s mental wellbeing, and the ways employers can support their staff in these situations.
We also hear from RedArc Nurses about the importance of providing support for members of staff with both mental health and physical health problems.
This is my last issue of Tomorrow’s Health & Safety as I will soon be moving on to pastures new. Before I sign off I’d just like to say it’s been a fascinating and rewarding experience working alongside all of the industry’s health and safety professionals. The industry has progresssed with leaps and bounds in the time I’ve been a part of it and it is exciting to think about what the future holds.
