If you’re like us here at TCHQ, you’ll have spent the past month or so glued to the television watching the Rio Olympics. Whether you’re a fan of athletics, gymnastics or swimming, or you developed a love for a completely new sport (for me it was definitely Water Polo!), it was hard not to be inspired by some of the athletes competing in this summer’s showpiece sporting event.

If this inspiration has got you off your sofa and out to your nearest gym, then you’ll want to check out the Leisure & Hospitality section of this, our September issue, as some of the biggest names in the cleaning industry tell us how to stay clean and hygienic while working out. It’s a brand new feature section for us, but with great articles from the likes of Metsa, GOJO and SCA, it’s an area we’ll definitely return to.

4 | Tomorrow’s Cleaning September 2016

Elsewhere, we look at the more serious subject of Trauma & Accident Cleaning, as Rentokil Specialist Hygiene and SCS look into the particular traits that are needed for such a harrowing job, and explain why maintaining a sensitive touch is essential. It may not be pretty, but it is fascinating to learn more about what goes into this line of work.

In other news, regular TC columnist Max Adam, Sales & Marketing Director of RP Adam, kicks off a new series of articles on the digital revolution by explaining how cleaning companies will need to adapt to survive. It’s sure to make for a really interesting series, so be sure to check it out.

I hope you enjoy the issue – thanks very much, and happy reading! P.S. If anyone knows of any water polo clubs in and around Manchester, hit me up!
