TCFM NOW PART OF THE COLONEL’S


SECRET RECIPE AT KFC TC Facilities Management is now an added ingredient at over a quarter of KFC restaurants across the country, thanks to a new contract win.


The contract, being delivered by a team from TC Specialist Services – part of TC Facilities Management (TCFM), started on 8th August 2016, and will provide window cleaning services to more than 200 KFC restaurants, along with jet washing services to sites with Drive-Thrus.


The team from TC Specialist Services will ensure that the standards of appearance to the exterior of each restaurant and Drive-Thru will help to create a welcoming, fresh and engaging environment for customers of all ages.


STAFF FROM CHRISTEYNS SWING INTO ACTION FOR LOCAL


CHARITY PROJECT Staff at Bradford-based laundry chemical manufacturer Christeyns took a day out from their busy schedules recently to help rejuvenate the Big Swing Adventure Playground in Eccleshill.


Christeyns offers all its 130 members of staff the opportunity to take paid leave in order to help out a local charity or good cause through its volunteering initiative.


On this occasion nine members of staff, including Managing Director Nick Garthwaite, spent a day carrying out an extensive range of tasks including painting, gardening, treating timber structures and repairing walls and paths. Chris Reed, Warehouse Team Leader acted as team co-ordinator for the day, which ended with a well- earned try-out on the zip wire.

The contract will utilise state-of-the- art jet washing technology along with innovative software which will help to deliver robust scheduling, monitoring and management reporting to KFC.


Eric Dawson, Business Manager, TC Specialist Services, said: "We are delighted to become part of the team at KFC UK & Ireland. We’re looking

Activities include den and structure building, team games, cooking campfire style and trying out the zip wire.


The Big Swing is a registered charity and provides free evening and weekend play sessions as well as family sessions on Saturdays. “We are a small charity and rely heavily on donations and volunteers”, said Jenny Turner, Senior Playground Developer Playworker. “The playground provides an essential part of life for the surrounding community and the families and children who visit. We would not be able to keep it in a safe and useable condition without help from companies such as Christeyns.”
