INNOVATION LEADS THE WAY AT FACILITIES SHOW 2017
Dynamic approaches to cleaning and facilities management for a broad range of industry sectors will be presented at the worlds’ largest dedicated FM event, Facilities Show 2017.
Covering all FM sectors from cleaning, maintenance and machinery, waste management to technology, energy efficiency, mechanical and electrical, the Facilities Show features plenty to inspire visiting industry professionals.

INSPIRATIONAL INSIGHT A world-class inspirational speaker programme has been added to the Facilities Show 2017, with three celebrity keynote speakers joining a host of industry specialists to motivate cleaning and FM leaders.
The inspirational keynote presentations will come from physicist, TV presenter, and former D:Ream keyboard player, Professor Brian Cox OBE; double Olympic gold medallist, Dame Kelly Holmes; and Falklands War veteran, Simon Weston OBE.
The Inspirational Speaker Series will give visitors the opportunity to hear from leaders outside of the cleaning and facilities profession, whose achievements are remarkable and incredibly inspiring. The high-profile speakers will give presentations in the Keynote Theatre, sponsored by Honeywell.
They will join a speaker programme that also features practical cleaning and facilities management insights from hand-picked industry experts across a wide range of business sectors, sharing over 30 hours of knowledge and content to attendees.
Dame Kelly Holmes is best known for her success in the 2004 Olympics, where she won two golds and became the second woman in history to claim both 800m and 1500m titles for British athletics. Prior to track fame, she served almost 10 years in the military and was awarded an MBE for her services to the British Army. Dame Kelly will also join a panel debate on mental health immediately following her speech.

to TV programmes such as ‘Wonders of the Universe’ and ‘Wonders of the Solar System’, as well as working on the ATLAS and CERN Large Hadron Collider projects.
Simon Weston CBE was aboard the HMS Sir Galahad with the Welsh guard regiment when it was bombed by Argentinean planes during the Falklands War. The horrific burns he suffered required a series of operations that continue to this day. Despite his injuries and the physical and mental suffering, Simon’s life is an example of great personal triumph and courage. He is a role model for positive mental attitude and overcoming hardship.
