AWARDS 2015 TOMORROW’S CLEANING

Binny Roftek

After extensive trials, Binny disposable sanitary bins are now growing in use across the UK in a variety of organisations. With Binny there’s no need to use sanitary waste collection companies as cleaners can simply dispose of Binny and its sanitary contents into the black bag bin waste.

“There is a lot of misinformation around sanitary waste as people think that it is clinical waste when it is actually in the same category as used tissues,” said Binny Founder and Managing Director, Simon Rothwell. “The problem was that a simple way of dealing with sanitary waste was required to make disposal simple for cleaning staff, and that’s where Binny comes in. The contents of our disposable sanitary bins are kept hidden and the whole box and contents are simply thrown away.”

Binny disposable sanitary bins possess many features essential for dealing with sanitary waste, including Biomaster antibacterial protection and reduced organisational costs. Simon added: “Organisations are paying for every sanitary bin to be emptied when they use a third party. Some Binny customers have reduced their sanitary bin spend by over 60% and now fi nd this whole area simpler to manage through their own cleaning staff.”

Binwash City Morclean

The Binwash City is a battery operated wheelie bin wash cleaning machine, capable of cleaning two bins at any one time. It takes all the hassle out of bin cleaning, as it fi ts onto a tow bar and can be towed by most vehicles. It also lifts the bins with its hydraulic lift system, meaning all you do is hook the bin on and clean it with the high-pressure hose attached.

The City battery machine, which has already won the prestigious Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice, is a totally new idea in the bin cleaning industry and takes huge steps forward to improve what is currently available, it offers a sustainable, eco-friendly alternative to those conscious about their carbon footprint.

Like many bin wash machines on the market today, recycling water and saving energy was a requirement rather than an innovation. Morclean felt that machines were making savings for reasons of necessity, legislation and profi t as opposed to being totally innovative. So, they tried to excel and improve the machines totally powered from batteries instead of an engine.

Morclean launched the fi rst Wheelie Bin Cleaning Machine as a petrol version in late 2012; due to the popularity of the fi rst range, they have been developing a brand new, innovative battery operated bin-cleaning machine since.
