TOMORROW’S CLEANING AWARDS 2015

Multiwash 340/Pump Battery Truvox

Truvox International launched the Multiwash 340/Pump Battery at ISSA/Interclean Amsterdam last year. The previous model has long been one of the most popular fl oor cleaning machines in Truvox’s range, and the new machine includes all the features that make the Multiwash so successful.

It can wash, scrub and dry both hard and soft fl oor coverings in a single pass, while a choice of brushes allows operatives to undertake normal, maintenance cleaning or intensive scrubbing, and it is quiet in operation.

It is also extremely effective on ‘diffi cult’ fl oors, such as non- slip safety fl oors, low pile carpets and escalators; and it’s easy to manoeuvre, not just when cleaning, but between sites too. Its battery operation means no trailing cables, and it has a continuous battery run time of up to 50 minutes.

The Multiwash 340/Pump Battery operates by applying the cleaning liquid to the fl oor surface via the spray pump in front. Using counter rotating cylindrical brushes, which exert more than four to six times more pressure than a rotary machine, the brushes scrub the fl oor and throw the dirty water onto the conveyor drum. Due to its high brush pressure and speed, less water and solution is used which makes it both cost effective and benefi cial in environmental terms.

nLite Ultra HiMod Limited

Edition 2014 Carbon Fibre Pole Unger

Professional window cleaners need tools they can rely on, and when it comes to water-fed poles, Unger knows that certain features are essential. Poles must be strong and sturdy, but light enough for comfort and ease of use, while also retaining the rigidity needed for cleaning windows or façades at all heights.

However, the lightest poles aren’t necessarily the best, although lightness is a benefi t, material strength (MSI) should also be an important factor when purchasing water-fed poles. Unger has been setting the standard in this sector for over 50 years, and the latest addition to its nLite range of water-fed poles is a prime example of the company’s knowledge and expertise.

The nLite Ultra HiMod Limited Edition 2014, is made from an enhanced hi-modulus carbon – a new material which Unger brought to the market to offer the ultimate in stiffness, even when cleaning up to heights of 20m (65ft). Its features and benefi ts include an incredible 110 MSI – making it the most rigid water- fed pole on the market, with 30% stiffer material (230 GPa) than current nLite HiMod poles, allowing professionals to clean at height while on the ground, with no loss of rigidity or control. It is also incredibly lightweight – weighing 1.5kg for the Master pole, and 0.7kg for each Extension pole.
