ACHIEVING A MISSION A New Report for the Next 100 Years

Emily Griffith Technical College has evolved with the

Greater-Denver Community for 100 Years. As we move forward into the next 100, we want to continue to evolve and for that reason, in addition to all the great

work the Foundation is doing, we have also created an interactive version of our annual report. The report can be found at www.egfoundation.org.

Dear Foundation Supporters,

In 1916, Emily Griffith engaged community leaders to start the first adult vocational school in America. She engaged them by inviting them to the Governor’s Mansion, by visiting their places of work, and visiting their homes and explaining to them the importance of vocational education and workforce development in a city where immigrants were flooding in and growth was clearly in the future.

I am inviting you today, 100 years later, to engage in the future of workforce education, to take a look at Emily Griffith Technical College with bright eyes and a new perspective and once again, like Emily did 100 years ago, engage in the future.

Thank You, ALBY
