Every Friday, Saturday & Sunday In May Skate Zone 71 – Free Skate Night. From 7:00 – 10:00 pm admission is free for Scouts and skate rental is $4.00. Family and friends are $8.00 for admission and skate rental. Advanced reservations are REQUIRED.
May 5-7 Arrowhead Spring Camporee – Thrive. Will you survive? Or Thrive? Cost is $15 per Scout and Scouter. Register by April 21st. Held at Camp Lazarus in the West Activity Field.
May 5-7 Tri-Creek Spring Camporee. Held at Camp Falling Rock, there will be activities for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Cost is $10 per person until May 1st. After May 1st cost goes to $15 per person.
May 5 COSI Camp-In. Live Shows, COSI’s Classic Exhibits, A Giant Screen Film, Mindbender Mansion and Amazing Mazes, COSI’s Planetarium, and Dancemania. Every camper receives two days of COSI admission, a snack, breakfast, and a souvenir patch you can redeem for one free youth admission to COSI between now and Labor Day, all for just $40 per person.

May 13-14 Wilderness First Aid 16 Hour Course. The Wilderness First Aid course provides an intensive 16 hours of training covering injury assessment, rescuer safety, bleeding, shock, orthopedic injuries, long-term patient care, and treatment with materials at hand during practice sessions. Cost is $75.00 and you must be at least 14 years of age. Held at Camp Lazarus.
May 13 Camp Discovery Day. Join us for a day of showing children with special needs that they too can enjoy Scouting. We are looking for adult and youth volunteers to run activity stations and Boy Scouts (ages 13 & up) to be Scout Buddies for the day. Friday night Scouts can learn more about different disabilities at our Disabilities Awareness Workshop. More information at

May 13 The Chiller Free Skate Night. OhioHealth Chiller North is hosting a FREE Skate Night for Scouts from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Friends and family are only $7 and includes skate rental.
May 19-21 2017 Rappelling Clinic. A weekend training clinic combining rappelling skills with fun and fellowship. Open to adults and youth 14 years and older. All adult attendees must have Youth Protection Training.
May 20 Ohio Machine Lacrosse Cub Scout/Boy Scout Night. Check out their brand new stadium, Fortress Obetz, as they take on the Charlotte Hounds. Tickets start at just $15 and it includes limited addition hat, discounted food and drink, recognition on the jumbo screen, and more!
May 19-21 SKC Canoe Clinic. Class teaches your Scouts paddling competency and introduces tripping skills, as well as including all requirements for the Canoeing Merit Badge and ACA Introduction to Canoeing course.

May 5-7 Wood Badge C4-441-17-1 – Weekend Two. All registrations fields must be complete and a minimum payment of
$50.00 is due at the time of registration. Spots are given to the first 48 people who pay their fees in full. A full payment secures your enrollment for the course. Refund requests are subject to the SKC BSA policy. Held at Chief Logan Reservation.

June 3-4 SKC Canoe Clinic. Class teaches canoe-tripping skills, with an emphasis on preparation for Northern Tier or equivalent treks, and includes all requirements for the ACA Canoe Camping course. Completion of the Canoe Clinic program or equivalent paddling competence is a prerequisite.
June 10 SKC Canoe Clinic. Class teaches the ACA Introduction to Kayaking course and includes all requirements for the Kayaking Merit Badge.
