c Update your internet advancement on a monthly basis.
c Advancement applications for the Eagle rank, Summit Award, and Quartermaster Award need to be submitted to the council office immediately after the Board of Review is completed.
c Be aware of advancement changes in the Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturing, and Sea Scout programs to prevent issues.
c Note the advancement dates and time required between ranks. Also be mindful of the amount of time required for leadership positions after the last rank advancement.

c The National Guide to Advancement is to be used for meeting all advancement requirements and answer any questions.
c Any disputes regarding advancement should be handled at the District level first. If the dispute is not satisfied it is then brought to the Council Advancement Committee.
c Any disputes for the Council Advancement Committee to review need to be sent to
Jeffrey-lockhart@att.net with a description of the issue. Requests will be responded to within 48 hours.
c Boards of review are not the appropriate place for a retest advancement related skills or knowledge.
CELEBRATING THE COUNCIL’S SUCCESS
The close of a successful year in 2016 allowed for celebration at the start of 2017. Council President, The Honorable Guy Reece, II, Scout Executive, Jeff Moe and Council Commissioner, Bruce Boyle accepted the council’s Silver Journey to Excellence recognition.
Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers and families for making 2016 a year to celebrate. What a great way to start the first quarter of 2017!
