Malone Boat in Rockport has a very


interesting project underway. In January 1916 they started construction on a Devlin designed houseboat. The owners had been down to Robinhood Marine and saw the


houseboats that they off ered for overnight stays and decided that this was the type of boat they would like to own. The hull was built of plywood, which was cut with a C&C machine. Once the hull was together they started on her interior. Her accommo- dations include a helm station in the bow; inside there is a full galley, settee, head, and owners state room; and on the aft end is a deck with a solid overhead canopy. She will be powered with twin 50 hp outboards in wells. Presently they are working on her interior fi nishing up systems and details and

Hall’s Quarry has had a busy winter and spring. In one shop they have in 1960 39-foot


Bunker & Ellis, which has had the interior of her pilothouse stripped and revarnished. They also stripped her exterior varnish and refi nished it and then installed a bow and stern thruster. In another shop is a Stanley 36, which


is having a new teak deck put down. They are also replacing her rub and toe rails. An East Bay 43 has received a new gen


set and systems as well as bow and stern thrusters. A Legacy 40 has had both of her main


engines replaced with Cummins diesels. They also made upgrades to her systems. A 38 and 44 Farr designed Concordias
