otherwise perfect score over the two days. Koltakov went into the final two rounds with an eight-point cushion over nearest rival Igor Kononov. When the two met in their opening ride, Heat 4 on Saturday, Kononov was unable to keep up with Koltakov and the gap increased to nine.


Koltakov rode unbeaten throughout the meeting whilst Kononov kept up the pressure scoring 14. Both won their respective semi-finals and lined up side-by-side in Saturday’s Final.
