Five 19th century stoneware tobacco jars, to include a pair of jars and one brass cover inscribed “PROF” mixture and MORTON, with relief moulded vignettes of a figure smoking a pipe and a figure taking snuff, 28cm high, a Vitreous stoneware tobacco jar by J. Bourne, with hand painted vignette ‘SIR DAVID BAIRD MIXTURE’, 22.5cm high, a Port Dundas pottery stoneware three pint waisted cylindrical jar, 17.5cm high and a stoneware snuff jar with gilded banner above shallow relief of a figure taking snuff, with hand painted details and fruiting vine borders, 19.5cm high.
