Robert Burns Interest - A hand written Poem attributed to Robert Burns ‘address to a Mouse On turning up one with the Plough in Nov 1785 by Robert Burns’ and a late 18th century Newhall tea bowl and saucer bearing an old paper label inscribed ‘This cup & saucer were used by Robert Burns’, the letter written over three pages approximately 21cm x 11cm each, in an old manila envelope post marked Edinburgh 30 SEP 1960 to ‘Mrs Murray Thomson, 11 Melville Place, Edinburgh’ with hand written note ‘Poetry supposed to be written by Robert Burns To a mouse 1785’, the tea bowl 8cm diameter x 5cm high, the saucer 13.5cm. £150-250 (+24% BP*)
