Oh to be in Upton now that April’s there And whoever wakes in Upton Sees some morning unaware That the lowest branch and grassy sheaf Round Upton trees are in tiny leaf While the birds all sing on every bough In Upton – now!

With that Spring sentiment in mind, the Keep Upton Tidy Group is looking forward to our own Big Spring Clean on Sunday 9th April, starting at 10am at the Surgery and Library Car Park. This is for our own community and it would be wonderful to get a great turn out so we can cover as wide an area as possible. Please join us if you can.
The next meeting of the Keep Upton Tidy Group will be confi rmed as soon as possible and we are always delighted to see new faces, even as a one off to see what we do. Meanwhile, thanks to all those who have been looking after their areas or making sure litter gets to a bin.
Finally we would ask residents to be vigilant and advise the above named offi cers of any litter, fl y- tipping, dog fouling or overgrown pathways (or bins that have not been emptied) and we will do our best to resolve the problem.
