The 2017 Dorset Food & Venison Festival at Post Green will soon be with us on Saturday 29th April from 10am-4pm. Everyone is warmly invited for a day of good food, interest and entertainment with adult admission £3 and children under 12 admitted free.
We expect the event to be popular, and the following Traffic Management Plan has been put in place to deal with increased traffic around Post Green and Lytchett Minster. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know at

Dorset Food & Venison Festival 2017 Traffic Management
Entrance routes: • From A35 east and west via Baker’s Arms roundabout onto B3067 eastbound, turn left to travel north onto Post Green Road.
• From Upton westbound on B3067, turn right to travel north onto Randalls Hill, then left to travel west on Huntick Road, then left onto Post Green Road.
Exit: South down internal school road via one-way section to junction with B3067 at parish church.
Closures: • Post Green Road designated one-way north from junction with B3067 to entrance to Lytchett Minster School.
• New Road closed from junction with B3067 to junction with Post Green Road. Access permitted for New Road residents at south end, otherwise retained for overspill herringbone parking and emergency vehicular access.
Restrictions will apply from 9.15am until 5pm on Saturday 29th April.
