Protect Your Family and Your Business Plan now to attend SHRED-A-THON 2017 on Thursday, April 27 and Saturday, April 29 for FREE shredding of your confidential documents. The Orange County Solid Waste Man- agement Department will sponsor the Shred-A-Thons in cooperation with University Place and local law enforcement. Orange County resi- dents and small businesses, including the portion of Chapel Hill that is in Durham County, and local govern- ment employees may securely destroy their personal confidential documents at no cost.


The Shred-A-Thons will be held at these locations: Thursday, April 27 from 10am to 2pm — University Place at Estes and Willow Drive, Chapel Hill. Park and walk up service. While some carts will be available, participants with more than they can carry may want to bring


a cart or other wheeled conveyance. Saturday, April 29 from 10am to


2pm — Hampton Pointe Recycling Site, behind Home Depot in Hillsbor- ough. Drive-through service. Limit of five “banker-box” sized


boxes or five large bags of paper per person, and a limit of one trip per household or organization. Remove any non-paper materials prior to bringing documents to the Shred-A-Thon. Do not bring plastic bags, plastic


binders, plastic folders, metal tabs, laminated paper, computer disks or any other electronic media. The shredded paper will be recycled and cannot contain plastic, metal or any material other than clean paper. Shredding takes place on-site and
