The Wedding Of SOPHIE CASEY- MITCHESON TO EDWARD LANGSTON

The day got off to a great start with Ted’s Guard of Honour all resplendent in full uniform with swords, chainmail and spurs on their boots marching though Stratford-upon- Avon on a busy summer Saturday morning to Holy Trinity Church, the burial place of William Shakespeare.

The Bride also arrived in style in a1934 Vintage Rolls Royce Landaulette Limousine, to reflect their love of the 50’s and 60’s Sophie wore a stunning T length lace covered wedding dress, carefully chosen from Boho Bride that along with the 50’s style Bridesmaids dresses for friends Charlotte Casey- Mitcheson, Jodie Oxford, Claire Hollier, Phoebe Lanrner, and Megan Plover set the theme for the rest of the day.

Guests were transported form the church to the Marquee at Broom Court Farm by a vintage blue double decker bus with the Bride and Groom making their entrance to the marquee on Ted’s granddad’s vintage motorbike. Surrounded by colourful flowers and homemade bunting along with multi coloured tissue pomp pomp’s hanging from the top of the marquee. Whilst Fairy lights, hay bales, wooden toad stools,

giant jenga and ten pin bowling provided amusement outside the marquee.

Food came in the form of a vintage afternoon tea, ‘Ted and Sophie Style’ with everyone enjoying a selection of their favourite sandwiches, pork pie, quiche, sausage rolls, pineapple and cheese, and of course cake! Brownies, scones, Etan mess, banana cake and lemon drizzle, topped off with pimps served in jam jars. For evening guests a pig roast with sweet potato chips was more than popular and of course more cake!

Whole New World from Aladdin was the couples choice for their first dance after which the dance floor was never empty as guests and the happy couple danced the night away to the couples favourite music again from the 50’s and 60’s.

We at Live 24-Seven wish them every happiness for the future.
