Lovers’ Spat Shakespeare’s Famous Couple’s Encounters


SHAKESPEARE & COMPANY is pleased to announce Lovers’ Spat — Shakespeare’s Famous Couple’s Encounters on Saturday, February 18 at 7:00 pm and Sunday, February 19 at 2:00 pm. Company actors and guest performers explore the complexities of love in staged readings featuring Shakespeare’s most notorious couples’ loving, fi ghting, scheming and wooing. Lover’s Spat is directed by Artistic Director Allyn Burrows and performed in the Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre.

Comedian Kevin Bartini is our MC, and the cast features Elizabeth Aspenlieder, Jason Asprey, Allyn Burrows, MaConnia Chesser, Tamara Hickey, David Joseph, and more.


Tickets are $25 general admission. $10 student tickets are also available for both performances. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased online at www.shakespeare.org or by calling the Shakespeare & Company box offi ce at (413) 637-3353. The Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre is wheelchair accessible.
