Pets of the Month BUSTER
CAN I LEAN ON YOU? My name is Buster and I’m what they call a “boxer mix.” In other words, I look like a boxer but I have a lot of other great doggie DNA stirred in to make one awesome happy pooch. I am a strong but sweet and loveable 70 pound lap dog. I love to lean against a soft human – it’s a bonding thing. I recently turned 1 year old so what you see is what you get. I am the perfect size for any living
arrangement. I like other dogs. I’ll admit I tend to ignore cats. I don’t hate them – it’s just that “Dogs are from Mars, Cats are from Venus” thing. Mouse for lunch? Yuch- I just don’t get it. I have already been microchipped and neutered, plus I have ALL my shots. Add it all up and I think
you’ll see I am a great deal! All I need now is you. PEEPS
OK- SO I enjoy walking on a leash. Why does everyone make such a fuss over that? Is it because cats are so independent that the thought of one of us tethered blows your mind? Ponder this: which end of the leash is doing the leading? Hmmm? I really enjoy playing. It could be with another cat, a kitten or even a human. If it moves, it’s playtime. I cannot name one cat that was actually killed by curiosity: therefore I will continue to investigate any and all things that intrigue me. Dogs are OK and won’t cause your adoption application to be rejected. You may keep Fido. I guess I should mention that I am litter box trained, neutered and up to date with my shots. I will be a whole year old next month – March 14 to be exact. If you hurry you can have me home in time to throw me a birthday party. I’ll even act surprised!•
