1 All in One Electricity Kit Includes both the PowerPods and Electricity Kit 2

The All in One Electricity Kit contains both the TTS Powerpods and the Electricity Kit and is all you need to teach electrical circuits. The electiricty kit contains 6 components bases which are manufactured from transparent resin, so that children can clearly see all the connections and wiring. Stored in a handy carry case, the kit contains contains 2 x MES bulb holders and bulbs, 1 x buzzer, 1 x push switch, 1 x LED, 1 x motor and 5 black and red jack leads. With built in safety features, the four easy-to-use rechargeable Powerpods will allow children to continuously create and develop new electrical circuits without the need for batteries. Completely safe for use in schools, the Powerpods will automatically limit the output current to a safe value, in the event of a circuit being shortened. The Pods, when fully charged, have an output of 1.5V, will last four hours and the LED display will always indicate the charge remaining. The simple, two hour recharge is achieved using the docking station.

2 Human Circuit Stick This fun resource can be used to demonstrate open and closed circuits.

Completely safe to use, simply touch both the contacts on each end of the stick to form a complete circuit. When a circuit is formed the Human Circuit Stick will emit a loud beep and the lights on the front will glow. As soon as one of the contacts isn’t touched, the circuit will be broken and the Human Circuit Stick will stop working.

Get children to form a circle linking hands so that the circuit maker will light up and beep.

Based on teacher feedback, we have specifically designed the Human Circuit Stick to be large in size so that it can be seen by all of the class. Measuring 15 x 5cm in size and made from durable ABS plastic the Human Circuit Stick is powered by 2 x AAA batteries with a battery life of approx 1 year on standby. For ages 3yrs+.

LEDs light up when you make a circuit

Add a further challenge by allowing the children to find objects to put in the link that will break or continue the circuit for the stick to work! Or use the Human Circuit Stick as a tester of insulators or conductors by covering the ends of the stick with different materials and testing whether a circuit can still be created.
