Philanthr opic Highlights VOLUNTEERISM

An Exceptional Volunteer: Jana Reddoch For 13 years, Jana Reddoch has been an exceptional OES volunteer. When her son, David Spindel ’16, started kindergarten, Jana wanted to contribute to the community while she continued to work full-time as a physician. Her first role was as an OES Fund volunteer, making phone calls and writing letters in the evenings and on weekends. Over the years, Jana volunteered as a Parent Association Link (PAL) grade representative, served on the Auction committee, and chaired the Friends of the OES Library (FOESL) committee. Most recently, she organized the 2016 Lifer Lunch.

With David having graduated this year, Jana just has two years left at OES with her daughter, Cara ’18, but she’s not ready to stop yet. “I’m looking forward to continuing my volunteer work and meeting more wonderful parents!” she says.

“Jana is a volunteer who has worked tirelessly for many years, usually behind the scenes, on countless events and committees. She is a treasure to our community!” – Cindy Plummer, OES Auction and Special Events Manager

The talent and support that is provided by volunteers like Jana is so critical to the fulfillment of OES’s mission. Thank you to all of our volunteers and the meaningful work and value you have brought to this community.
