Role of the MAT Chief Executive Officer


The CEO is responsible for ensuring that learning and teaching are highly effective and that all pupils achieve their maximum potential by:


• Ensuring the strategic vision is promoted in all Pioneer schools


• Ensuring all policies and procedures are followed in all Pioneer schools





Providing dynamic and strategic direction for teaching and learning


• Maintaining and raising standards


• Ensuring monitoring is effective and having the necessary impact





Ensuring equality of opportunities for all


• Ensuring that resources are effectively used in conjunction with the strategic plan


• Ensuring all relevant legislation is complied with


• Ensuring financial regulations are met and value for money is obtained


• Performance Management of Head Teachers and Senior Central Team


• Holding Head Teachers to account for pupil progress in their schools


• Overview of all pupil data


• Setting all school budgets with the Head Teachers and Head of Finance
