preventing overloads. And as far as working conditions? No problem. Elebia autohooks are designed to work in whatever conditions are presented (steelworks, ports, high and low temps, etc.). “Over the last four years, it’s just been more products and load scales, more innovation,” emphasized Fillol. “We’ve created a black box that develops all data for the load—day, month, operator information, hook serial number, load information—and it all exports to the computer via USB connection. “We’re aiming to create the crane hook of the future.
No longer will it be the ‘dumb,’ benign part of the load. It will be smart—gathering data, returning data—which is so important in industries like nuclear, hot plants, water treatment, construction, and many more.”
“IT SEEMED THAT ONE COULD BUY THE MOST INNOVATIVE CRANE ON THE MARKET, BUT IN THE END, WORKERS STILL HAD TO MANUALLY HOOK UP THE LOAD. FILLOL SAW AN ENORMOUS OPPORTUNITY TO ADVANCE THE PRODUCTIVITY AND SAFETY OF LIFTING HOOKS.”
Needless to say, Elebia’s reputation has spread
around the globe in the short time the company has been producing the world’s smartest crane hooks and accessories. Eighty-five percent of Elebia’s customers are international. “Te Internet played a huge role in
promotion,” Fillol assured. “We traveled to many events, promoted through media of various types, and spread it through word of mouth. We used every avenue possible.” Te world certainly noticed, and among a massive list of industry partners representing construction, naval, energy, steel, mining, aerospace, and manufacturing, Elebia is drastically improving productivity and safety of global leader companies like Rolls-Royce, Space-X, ArcelorMittal, Boeing, Airbus, Siemens, Tenaris, and many more. “We find traction anywhere a problem needs to be
solved,” said Fillol. “We’ve got customers across almost every industry. We’ve learned that some companies have actually been able to go from two cranes to one crane— two ships to one ship—which equals enormous savings, as you can imagine. Many companies have indicated the desire to use Elebia hooks on every product. It gives us a great sense of satisfaction and purpose.” With such a reputation,
growth is now also a priority for Elebia. Currently comprised of just ten employees, along with various industry partners and sub-contractors, the company is exploring the inevitable considerations that come with a product line the world can’t get enough of. “Our values come first
before anything else,” stressed Fillol. “Safety, awareness, enthusiasm, and the pursuit of excellence in innovation. As a world leader, we always want to provide the top value and be a problem solver. I’m quite happy with the team;
