For three years, they pushed the product— which was well received wherever and whenever presented—and in 2012, the “Elebia” company was created. “Te market wanted it,” said Fillol, “and by the time we established the official company, we were already introducing the second generation.” Four years later, Elebia boasts five different “evo” hooks (with working load limits that range from 2,500kg–25,000kg), four different high-tech remotes, and a sophisticated selection of chargers and lifting accessories. But these aren’t just magnetized, automated hooks. Tey’re fully integrated “smart” devices. A sensor in the magnet indicates when the ring is in position. All this information is recorded in the Emax remote control that will act as a hub gathering all the information and recording all the activity of the hook.


Te battery and chargers have been designed to


improve efficiency and minimize the energy consumption of the autohook—which has allowed for up to 300 standby hours (12 days), or more than 5,000 cycles. And the battery is high capacity—requiring just two hours to charge, with no need to re-charge for an entire week. A new gearmotor allows users to release up to 20kg—no problems with heavy rigging. And thanks to precise electronic torque control, users can adjust the release limit, which is also clutch-protected from overloads. Additionally, the hooks can’t drop suspended loads. To release the load, the motor must rotate the hook, lifting the load contained therein—a universal feature in Elebia autohooks, where all designs are geometrically failsafe.
