The respondents who chose ‘Other’ did so primarily for the following reasons:


- Near family for a support network - Unable to afford a property - In an area close to predicted future postings - In an area near to where we intend to live on leaving the RAF


We want to get on the property ladder, but want to continue to live together as a family while partner serves (so continue to move around and live in SFA). The plan is to buy to let to get on the ladder, and then when partner leaves military, sell that house and buy own house in location where we choose to settle (which is yet unknown).
