ad Dogs continued to dominate the 2015 season at Guards Polo Club by adding the Coworth Park
Challenge Trophy to their collection. Alan Fall’s team defeated Mo Sheikh’s Bridge House of Twyford 9-8 in a close game on the number one ground at Coworth Park. Not surprisingly, at the end of the season, Mad Dogs were named Guards Polo Club’s Most Successful Team of 2015.
Heavy rain had forced the postponement of this 15-goal final by a week, but the delay did not seem to dampen the spirits of either team. Both sides produced a strong and fast paced game, but Mad Dogs had the edge on the final whistle. The sub final saw a contest between two
Emlor teams, Emlor S and Emlor J (rec ½ goal). This was also a tight match, but Spencer McCarthy’s Emlor S had the advantage narrowly winning the game 9-8½.
