COMPANION DOG SHOW


The Companion Dog Show is becoming more and more popular each year. There are many different classes to enter with pedigree and novelty classes which are open to all dogs over six months old. Entries are taken on the day from 12noon with judging starting at 1.00pm. Come and see which dogs catch the eye of the judge for this year.

COUNTRYSIDE AREA There is always plenty to see and do here – covering many aspects of the countryside. There will be a farrier, blacksmith, heavy horses, all showing their skills. Sheep shearing by the Young Farmers, Archery, Sheaf Pitching, Young Farmers Tug of War, the Vintage Tractors where you can talk ‘all things tractors’ with their owners. New this year is a Saw Mill Demonstration.


CLASSIC CAR PARADE


PETS CORNER/ CHILDREN’S ENTERTAINER/ CHILDREN’S


CHILLOUT AREA Luxstowe Vets in Liskeard will be overseeing the Pet’s Corner alongside their own stand. This will include a variety of small animals. Also watch out for the Alpacas! Please remember if you handle any animals at the show then ensure you wash your hands after doing so. Hand washing facilities are provided around the showground. New this year is a Children’s Entertainer located in the Pets’ Corner marquee. He will provide an array of entertainment including balloon modelling and circus skills. We also have a small Children’s Chill Out area within this marquee provided by Liskeard Breast Feeding Support Group.


The Classic Cars were so popular last year they are returning again and will also do a parade in the main ring. An abundance of makes and models will be on show and their keen owners delighted to tell you all about them.
