down one bit. Dan is devoted to bringing awareness to epilepsy and helping others, working closely with the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida. Dan, his mom Lizzie and her husband, Dr. Burt Golumbic, have shared a huge part of themselves to help people in our community live day to day with epilepsy. The passion of this trio ensures local families get valuable information and receive
comfort and plenty of support! They are truly on a mission to educate the public and teach others like Dan how to live with the disorder. This past April, their Walk the Talk raised over $50,000 to benefit families in our area batling epilepsy. A big part of their mission now is to help build an Epilepsy Resource Center here in
Naples. The Greater Naples YMCA has donated space, and they hope to open the doors in November. So the focus currently is to raise the funds to complete the center. This will be such a huge benefit to local families affected by epilepsy. It will give them a place to unite with each other, to learn, to share and to grow stronger.
