how to live without it. In 2009, I moved back to Arizona, and it was here I would realize that my alcohol addiction had cost me two marriages and my job of nearly 20 years, and that I was facing jail time aſter my third DUI in less than three years. My life had become unmanageable! It was also here that I would come

to know the true meaning of surrender, as my relationship with God was renewed and He liſted my obsession and dependency on alcohol. I began my recovery in the rooms of Alcoholics Anonymous and have found true solace in the biblically based program of Celebrate Recovery. The Celebrate Recovery Ministry is a fellowship of average people who have become will- ing to admit that life is difficult and that we need each other. The program provides the necessary guidance and tools to make it through the hard times, and it’s a place where relationships are created with other like-minded Christians, celebrating God’s grace and healing from all of life’s hurts, hang-ups and habits. My journey has been long, but my recovery has provided so many opportunities and

has blessed my life in ways I could have never imagined. I have been married to my loving husband, Bill, for two years. He has been by my side since 2009, and his commitment and support are unwavering. Together we lead the Celebrate Recovery ministry at our local church in Naples, Florida, where we have lived for more than three years. We run our own real estate brokerage and enjoy spending most of our days together. The Lord has put on both of our hearts the importance of serving others, as we strive to give back to a program that helped save my life and continues to strengthen our marriage. I am grateful for my journey and plan to spend the second half of my life serving God and the ministry of Celebrate Recovery. God is good!
