Alltube backs growth strategy with BLM investment

Alltube is making a significant difference to the business in terms of productivity, manufacturing versatility and reductions in operating costs and environmental impact.
These benefits are impacting on Alltube’s overall business, with monthly turnover rising eight-fold and this trend set to continue thanks to the performance gains provided by the BLM ELECT machine.
Alltube can trace its history back to the mid-1980s and is now a well-established specialist supplier of manipulated tube and pipe components and assemblies, still controlled by the same family. Recently, however, a decision to bring in fresh management to work with and support the younger family members has initiated a dramatic change in fortunes, sales have increased dramatically and a more diverse customer base has been established, with monthly turnover rising eight-fold. This growth is also reflected by the decision to make investment in new equipment, including a major investment in the latest tube manipulation system from BLM Group. The introduction of a BLM ELECT 102 all electric tube manipulation system has enabled Alltube to greatly increase its machine capacity and significantly improve manufacturing efficiency. Driving this change is Managing Director, Kevin Cope, along with Technical and Development Director, Paul Fuller, and Commercial Director Philip Houghton who between them have over 100 years’ experience in the tube manipulation/engineering sectors.
