PROFILEMASTER PMM 10, an in-line profile
measurement system for profiles of all types, made of almost any material. It is the latest model in the measuring system product line that uses the light-slit method and image processing.
Our systems represent the state of the art and are based on almost 60 years of experience. Developing the very best measurement solution in terms of value for money was the key priority in the design for these systems.

In addition to excellent measuring precision, the system features a range of further qualities such as: − easy and quick operation, e.g. product activation − industrial: temperature- stabilised, high level protection from dirt guarantees long-term repeatability
− low total cost of ownership (TCO) and minimal maintenance requirements
In-line measurements The reference profile can be directly loaded into the system as a DXF CAD file. An alternative here
is ZUMBACH’s product generator: predefined shapes (round, rectangular, square, rhomboid, L) can be included at the press of a button. The desired measurements can be defined by an operator within just a few seconds. The acquired current product profile is superimposed on the reference profile. Orientation, any rotation and position of the object within the measuring field are tracked constantly. The measured values and deviations from the target dimensions are reproduced graphically and digitally on the
screen. Thanks to the reference profile, any changes in the captured contour and deviations from the target profile are clearly visible.
User-friendly editor The PROFILEMASTER PMM 10 editor was developed for maximum user-friendliness; various permission levels can be granted depending on the user. A reference profile can be imported in next to no time. Standard measurement values comprise amongst others profile, lengths, angles, radii and surface flatness.

Tolerance alerts can naturally also be defined on each measurement. SPC is part of the standard configuration.
Trend analysis – product quality at a glance PROFILEMASTER PMM 10 displays trends during production. At a glance, you can see if the process is drifting in a particular direction, allowing countermeasures to be taken quickly. All measurements, and thus also trends, are recorded and saved in the production log (PROFILEDATABASE software).
