For thirty-nine years, my goal has been to live out God’s purpose as explained in

Ephesians 4:12-13: “… to equip God’s people for the work of serving and building up the body of Christ until we all reach the unity of faith and knowledge of God’s Son. God’s goal is for us to become mature adults — to be fully grown, measured by the standard of the fullness of Christ.” (CEB)

I thank God for giving me the opportunity to serve in the ministry full-time. Though called into the ministry later in my life, I feel truly blessed the six years I have served as a local pastor. At times it has been challenging but always rewarding. Debbie and I look forward to our next season of life and are anxiously awaiting to see what God has in store for our future.

Pastor Bodek and his wife, Mary, will reside at 13 Sunshine Road, Shickshinny, Pennsylvania 18655-4422.

On the day I turned my life over to God, I began the most awesome journey of my life. Serving as a lay speaker and rotating between six different churches, this in itself was an awesome walk with God. I felt God calling me to move beyond lay speaking. I now serve two small country churches, and what a blessing it has been to grow with them in our love for God. Sharing God’s word with both the churched and unchurched is one of the most rewarding acts one can experience. There is no other way to experience a fulfilled life than through the love of God.

To answer my call into the ordained

ministry through our church, and to discover support during National Guard Deployments, has made all the difference as I tried to follow the will of God for my life. I want you to know that this has been a real joy to serve our Lord through teaching, helping, guiding, and comforting others. The pleasure of leading children and adults to the saving knowledge of Jesus has made any

Berwick. He was licensed to preach in

My ministry as a part-time local pastor at Ridge Street UMC, Almedia, has been a ministry of prayer and service. I took care of all the needs – spiritual and physical – of all the members of our church family. It has been an educational journey.

Words fail me in offering gratitude to God for the ongoing and incredible adventures in serving His purposes. Serving alongside the incredible people of the Mt. Zion (Dillsburg), Turkey Valley, and Warriors Mark congregations, along with my work through The Bishop’s Flock, Salt ‘n Light Youth Ministry Inc., Wesley Theological Seminary, and Messiah College has privileged me to experience and witness the Lord transform lives. My service continues through my role as Professor of Christian Ministries/Youth Ministry at Messiah College, through my associate pastoral role at Camp Hill UM Church, and through the formation of

Christmann by

First

Hanover. She was licensed to preach in 2011. She served Hanover First.

Pastor Christmann will reside at 332 Foxleigh Drive, Hanover, Pennsylvania 17331-5236.

I am a “late career” associate pastor. My “official” ministry was brief. My ministry’s meaning is the message that God calls us to live out our own unique ministry, and to trust that call, no matter how crazy or impossible it seems. I share how God’s grace, call(s), guidance, and support started my journey from a teenaged new Christian (who first met a female pastor at age 41), to an associate pastorate at age 67. And, further, how God used my entire life experience to prepare me for my role in developing and implementing First UMC’s Discipleship Ministry Plan.

Pastor George Wilson Clippinger

Pastor Clippinger was recommended for ministry by Salem Harrisonville. He was

licensed to preach in 1996. He served Sideling Hill Parish and Breezewood.

Isaiah 52:7 says, “How beautiful upon the mountaintops are the feet of those who preach the gospel, who bear glad tiding of peace.” It’s been a real trip these past years on my journey with Jesus as one of his messengers throughout the United Methodist Church. [I am] grateful for family, colleagues, parishioners, and our United Methodist connection for traveling with me and through me. Retirement has not come in the manner I had envisioned, but it is God, and it has been good. [I am] hoping for some health improvement in the days ahead; and then be waiting for that call from my D.S.

sacrifices that I have made seem trivial at best. Only God knows my future, as I often say, ‘I Plan, and God Laughs.’

Rev. William Joseph Danis

for

ministry by Mill Hall. He was licensed to preach in 1994 and ordained in

at 304 Prospect Avenue, Avis, Pennsylvania 17721-9084.

Jesus tells us that the world will know we are His disciples by our love for one another (John 13:35). Elsewhere, He tells us that we are to love even our enemies (Matthew 5:44). There is always a way for us, as disciples of Jesus Christ, to never compromise away our faith and still work for the cause of Christ, which is to reach the lost. God will always make a way for us to strive for unity in the body of Christ and still remain faithful to His Word. As a Christian, and certainly as a pastor, God calls us to pray for and sacrifice for the unity of the church (Ephesians 4:3). We are never working in the spirit of Christian unity when we choose to deny either the truth or authority of God’s Word.

Parish; Williamsport Third Street; Williamsport Third Street/Duboistown; and Milton Bethany/St Peters.

Pastor Ehrsam and her husband, Edwin, will reside at 104 South High Street, Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania 17870-1418.

It has been a privilege and an honor to answer God’s call into ministry and to walk with God on an exciting journey. One of my greatest joys was creating a meaningful worship experience that exemplified and extended God’s love and grace to everyone. It has been an honor to meet and share in the lives of so many good people. Our mutual human frailties and spirituality, in context with our Christian life and daily struggles, produced both challenges

and blessings. Embracing

those challenges and moving beyond them brought healing and celebrations of God’s blessings along the way.
