cohosted a summit in Sioux City late last year that brought together members from the trucking industry, law enforcement, and human services agencies in Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota and Minnesota to learn about the issue of human trafficking and talk about ways the trucking industry can get involved with fighting it. “We’re trying to, in a Nebraska-based


effort, to bring our folks together — everybody from the health and human services agencies, the attorney general’s office, the carrier enforcement division of the state patrol, and all our 13,500 trucking companies in this state,” Johnson said.
