Head of Currency Strategy. Previously he was the Chief Currency Strategist for HSBC Bank USA and Mellon Bank. A prolific writer and speaker, Chandler’s essays have been published in the Financial Times, Barron’s, Euromoney, Corporate Finance, and Foreign Affairs. He has taught classes on International Political Economy at New York University since the early 1990s. In 2009, his first book, Making Sense of the Dollar, was published by Bloomberg Press.

Karim Ghaidan is Investment Director and Head of Fundamental Research at TFF Asia. Karim started in fixed income sales for Tokai Bank London setting up and managing the Middle East client desk. He then became the bank’s proprietary equity derivative trader. He then worked for AMRO Bank Hong Kong as head of equity derivative trading before moving to Sun Hung Kai Asset Management. He was subsequently employed by Lemanik SA Switzerland as a fund manager before moving to Generale Bank Belgium as head of Global Emerging Markets. He set up a joint venture between Guangdong Development
