There is something about the thought of an afternoon cream tea that is hard to resist - no wonder it has never been more popular.
This spring, the talented team at the Tudor Park Marriott Hotel and Country Club have raised afternoon tea to a higher level or cake tier!
They have put together a menu of afternoon teas to suit every occasion.
Pop into Tudor Park, maybe after enjoying a
walk around the nearby Bearsted Woodland Trust land, and order a beautifully crafted cream tea. It comes with scones that defy gravity and lashings of cream.
If you are an afternoon tea connoisseur, you
won’t be disappointed. Tudor Park has recently brought in British tea specialist Simpsons Tea and has also teamed up with Kent’s leading wine producer Chapel Down to offer its award winning sparkling wine as part of a Royal Afternoon Tea package. And if bubbly isn’t your tipple, enjoy a long, cool glass of Hendricks’s gin over ice and lemonade perfect with classic cucumber finger sandwiches.

We would like to offer a restaurant table for 4 adults overlooking the Greyhound track with 12 races on the evening. The winner will have the table for the duration of the evening with tote messenger service for the bets and waiter/ess service for their food and drink. The table includes entrance into the stadium and a race card along with a 3 course dinner (Starter, Mains and Dessert).
We will be opening the restaurant at 6.15pm with Diners to be seated no later than 7pm ready for the racing to commence at 7.31pm. ALL drinks and betting would need to be paid for on the evening but NO cost for the meals.
