When it comes to maintaining your Mercury outboard, skilled technicians always get the job done. We take training so seriously; we created Mercury University, a factory-conducted technician training program that includes online and classroom instruction on all Mercury Marine outboards, controls, gauges, propellers, and parts and accessories. Only those who take required classes and pass our tests can be Certified Technicians, with continuing education and training serving as requirements to maintain certification. Several thousand active Certified Technicians are trained every year to sharpen their skills and keep their certifications up-to-date, offering you confidence in our ability to supply the most accurate information when choosing your new outboard.
