MILK CUP CHAIRMAN WELCOME

The Dale Farm Milk Cup continues to produce a feast of exciting football for all ages to enjoy and I can promise our large band of loyal supporters that we left nothing to chance for the 2015 event.

I am firmly convinced that the standard of entry in 2015 is exceptionally high as we endeavour to welcome teams of a high calibre from all across the globe.

It is imperative that to continue to be successful we cannot afford to stand still. We explore all possible avenues to progress the tournament and ensure it maintains its appeal and success.

For me, the Dale Farm Milk Cup is still all about people. Its very being is based on men, women and young people

coming together to enjoy a wonderful week of football and of course friendship. I know that over the years so many people have forged friendships that have grown and blossomed thanks to our event. That heartens me greatly as it epitomises the essence of our competition.

Our challenge is to ensure that we meet the demands presented each year with vigour and address whatever needs to be fine-tuned or adjusted. We in the Organising Committee have faced many challenges over the past few years and similarly over the 12 months since our last competition.

We are again running a Junior and Premier event although this year the Elite competition has been put on hold as we research the best way to proceed with a tournament involving older age group players.

Dale Farm has remained with us for another year as our valued title sponsor. We are grateful to the company for its ongoing support at a time when such commitment is not easy to attain. We

Victor Leonard, Chairman Organising Committee

would also thank all our sponsors from the world of commerce and public bodies. Everyone who comes along to the Dale Farm Milk Cup this week is a stakeholder in the tournament and please never forget that. Wherever you go across the region you are part of this wonderful celebration of football.

Enjoy the occasion and be proud that

DALE FARM WELCOME

On behalf of Dale Farm, I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to the 2015 Dale Farm Milk Cup.

One of the best known and respected international youth football tournaments, the Dale Farm Milk Cup is a special event, which brings together promising young players from across the globe to Northern Ireland.

It allows young people to showcase their skills in a competitive, inclusive and fun environment and gives our international guests a flavour of Northern Ireland’s first-class hospitality.

Dale Farm milk and ice cream, Dromona butter and cheddar, Spelga yogurts and Fivemiletown speciality cheese have been the real taste of home in Northern Ireland for decades.

And, like the Dale Farm Milk Cup, our international credentials continue to grow too – we now operate in some 40 countries.

We are proud to be from Northern Ireland but to have a reach that stretches far beyond here – and in that respect Dale Farm and the Milk Cup are a perfect match.

Good luck to all the teams in the 2015 Dale Farm Milk Cup – I have no doubt everyone involved will leave with a great sense of pride at having been part of it. l

David Dobbin Group Chief Executive, Dale Farm
