CAUSEWAY COAST & GLENS
Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council host some of the best football and sports facilities in the country and as Mayor it is my pleasure to welcome competitors and spectators to the area as they enjoy the Dale Farm Milk Cup Tournament 2015.
This year is a particularly special year, as we are in the first year of the new Council borough, which incorporates the legacy councils of Ballymoney, Coleraine, Limavady and Moyle.
The Tournament is spread across all four legacy council areas, and is one of the most prestigious Youth Football competitions in Europe as so many of
today’s key players have competed at junior level here right on our doorstep. The Tournament has continued to provide a platform to showcase the very best in youth football and the future stars of tomorrow.
This event brings so many benefits to the Borough and is always a great boost to the local economy as well as being a wonderful sporting occasion for all ages to enjoy.
Council is grateful to those supporting the tournament and to the Chairman Mr Victor Leonard MBE, Jim Sandford, and the entire Milk Cup Committee, including the teams of volunteers who so willingly give up their time to organise this event each year.
