The importance of teambuilding
With the Rugby World Cup being at the forefront of the news, the performance of the English rugby squad has been scrutinised. One excuse may have being the lack of teambuilding that the squad undertook. So why would this be important for your business?
John Cleese stated: “If you want creative workers, give them enough time to play.” Teambuilding exercises increases the trust and creativity factor among the employees. Don’t always assume that your fellow employee will speak ill about you in front of your superiors. By taking employees out of a work-based environment, relationships will be built outside and increase within. Also, the productivity increases when individuals work as a team and they feel more positive and confident at the work place.
With this in mind, Halo has devised the perfect teambuilding activity in the setting of the impressive St. Mary’s Football Club, home of Southampton Football Club: the opportunity to play football on one of the premier pitches in the country. Halo is delighted to confirm available slots from the May 16 to the June 5, 2016.
Last season, highlights of the Pitch Event sessions included the world- record-breaking 102-hour football match from Testland Support Project, two tournaments from Football for Fan’s and numerous private and corporate events.
Due to the successes of previous events, Halo has not only extended the dates available but also provided more slots, with prices starting from £4000.00:

• Use of St Mary’s pitch • FA qualified referees • Match and warm-up footballs
• Home physio changing area and away dressing room
• St John’s Ambulance • PA system for your commentator
• Catering unit, if applicable, open for spectators
• 24 bottles of water/energy drinks split between two dressing rooms
• Chocolate bars and bananas shared between dressing rooms
• Reduced cost for a hospitality suite
• Signed shirt and team sheets • Car parking.
Halo is also offering options after the match for post-match presentations, meetings and training session, to link it back into the workplace.
