ere we are at the end of 2015. How fortunate for each of us to be here now. As we reflect on where we’ve
been and where we’re going, it’s natural to assess the pros and cons of the previous eleven months. I’ve been successful in some of my year’s goals while some will carry
over into the new year. Although I was disappointed not to achieve some of them (more income, less weight), I have had such a robust year in personal growth, trying new things, meeting some amazing business people and practitioners, as well as creating new daily habits to delve deeper (and slow down) in order to experience living in the now. My best teachers have been our two grandsons—ages 29 months and 22 months. Watching them (or any children) interact, play, fall and get up, question, laugh, squeal and giggle is a lesson in simply being present. I see a lot of curiosity, fascination and wonder. This year I made the conscious effort to capture some of their pure delight to use in my life—to look at things differently, to try to see for the first time, to remove the story or judgement that I normally assign to my experiences or interactions. In my work, I am fortunate to meet many fascinating people dedicated to helping people find their passion, to live their best life. Whether I meet them for a one-on-one, listen to their community talk or maybe even hire them for some guided growth, I am amazed at how much these people can light up a room by walking their talk. Because I’m in this position where I attend a lot of talks and network with
a variety of people, I’ve been tempted to share a condensed version of what I’ve learned from these people with their big hearts. As 2016 nears, I most likely will add something to my monthly newsletter to address this desire and see where it goes.

Here are some of the highlights of what I’ve learned in 2015: • Use gratitude every moment of every day to live a richer life. (Mary Lynn Ziemer)
• Say “I wonder how…” when I want to change something but am not sure how to go about it. This engages the mind in a different gear than “I don’t know how…” (Lisa Olson)
• The One Great Goal—focus and prioritizing on this goal usually allow lesser goals to fall into place. (Ursula Mentjes)
• We all have our own style; whether we claim it, is up to us. (Dawn Stebbing)
• Drink half your body weight in ounces of water each day, but don’t drink more than 8 oz. in 15 minutes as the body can’t use the excess water. (Dr. Debbie Engelmann)
• Social Media—don’t try to do it all. Find one or two sweet spots and concentrate your time and effort there. (Tena and Angie at Tenacious)
• There are fun and easy ways to raise our energy. (Amy Nesdahl) • Focus on Love. Shine the Light. Change the World. (Molly Friedenfeld) Wishing each of you peace, joy and love.
