A meeting with high performance at its core
High-revving companies in the Solent 250 met high-revving cars when Meridian Maserati in Lyndhurst staged a networking event
Over drinks and canapes, company directors mingled with Gran Turismos, Quattroportes and Ghiblis as the dealership showcased the marque’s most desirable machines.
Itself one of the companies in the Solent 250, Meridian Group has three sites – Lyndhurst, Portsmouth and Bournemouth – and represents six manufacturers: Maserati, Ferrari, Abarth, Jeep, Chrysler and Alfa Romeo.
Sponsored by Blake Morgan, Grant Thornton and HSBC, the evening brought together business founders and CEOs for Maserati’s celebration of its most business-focused line-up yet, including the new Ghibli, and record sales in 2014.
This month, the latest Solent 250 list (see the following seven pages), compiled by The Business Magazine, is unveiled at a dinner at Lainston House, near Winchester. Invited guests will hear from guest speaker Mark Davey, CEO of Lakesmere, the leading roofing, cladding and specialist glass façade company.
Lakesmere, with £95.6 million turnover, is at number 28 in this year’s list.
