PHILANTHROPIC HIGHLIGHTS: AASK Aardvarks Advocate Skills & Knowledge


AASK has been the only program in the local area running for 17 consecutive years to provide after-school tutoring and a literacy-based summer program for middle school English Language Learners. Dedicated to the idea that every person deserves educational opportunities to fulfill their potential, during the last 17 years the AASK program has:


——Welcomed more than 2,000 youth as students or tutors who had fun, made memories, developed their talents, and blazed paths to success


——Improved the reading scores of hundreds of ESL students ——Connected the students of OES and Beaverton School District in ways no one thought possible, with over 40,000 volunteer hours to the Beaverton community


——Helped countless AASK students realize their power for good
