INTERSTELLAIRES Mylène Farmer Making a seductive escapade in the premiere video for her latest release, French superstar Mylène Farmer teams with Sting for the first single. “Stolen Car” is an intoxicating affair in which Farmer coos “Please take me dancing tonight…” while the song builds to an electro blast of synth and sexuality. It’s a fresh new take on Sting’s song, re-imagined by French producer Avener. Interstellaires is comprised of eleven tracks with a majority of them produced and co-written by Martin Kierszenbaum and Mylène Farmer. Farmer is France’s diamond lady of song. Viva la Mylène! Available November 6.
HUNTERTONES Huntertones Funk, progressive be-bop and jazz collide within the musical structure ofHuntertones. It’s a free style escapade of sounds which harken back to the sleek style of Steely Dan yet is captivating all on its own merits for their debut.
