3-night cruise with departures from April to October / Price per person: £1050
This short cruise is perfect for a taste of the amazing landscape, scenery and wildlife of Argyll and the Hebrides. The coastlines of Mull and Loch Linnhe are dotted with ancient castles and scenic sea lochs with an ever present backdrop of dramatic mountain ranges. The pristine waters are full of wildlife including dolphins, seals and otters. Golden and sea eagles wheel overhead, while on the water the ever-present gannets perform their spectacular dives.
Typical Stopovers and Anchorages: • Loch Spelve: Cruise to Loch Spelve on Mull and buy mussels for dinner from the mussel farm. Rise early for otter spotting or a shore walk in the oak forest
• Duart Castle: Anchor in Duart Bay on Mull, a haunt of dolphins and otters, with the dramatic backdrop of Duart Castle. Visit the castle for a fascinating insight to the Clan Maclean
• Loch Aline: Anchor in pretty Loch Aline on the Morvern Peninsula and go ashore for a wooded loch-side walk
• Isle of Lismore: Stop over at the Island of Lismore, which has many historical features, situated at the mouth of Loch Linnhe
• Shuna Island: The picturesque anchorage at Shuna Island has a clear view of Castle Stalker. Go ashore to the village of Appin, with the opportunity to visit the nature reserve there
• Loch a Choire: This very sheltered anchorage is surrounded by high mountains that descend to the coastline where herds of deer regularly graze. This is also a good spot for otters
