Skye and the Small Isles The Glen Etive
6-night cruise with departures in October / Price per person: £2700
The waters around the Small Isles and Skye are ideal for dolphin, seal and whale watching. The Small Isles offer a unique island-hopping adventure with ever-changing ocean vistas. The Isles of Muck, Eigg, Rum and Canna each has its own character with the distinctive silhouette of Skye ever present on the horizon. Approaching Skye from the sea is the best way to be introduced to the beauty of the rugged coastline and mountain ridges. Loch Scavaig, with its deeply indented coastline, is dominated by the majestic Cuillin Mountain range. Heading around the Sound of Sleat, the itinerary takes in Eilean Donan Castle, the Skye Bridge, the sheltered Inner Sound and remote sea lochs on the Scottish mainland.
